ALISON HONEY – GRECIAN SWEATSUIT

"Since getting my grey sweatsuit I've worn it out in London quite a bit. Most people don't think twice about it because lots of the kids here wear shell suits and sweat suits all the time. However, Shoreditch/Hoxton (where I live) is quite fashion/style oriented; there are tons of little shops, galleries, artists, fashion students and designers. Everyone is so cool looking, it's sick! When I go out at night in this area rocking the suit I do get some looks, but I also get a lot of smiles. Best of all (and something I didn't even originally consider) I don't get any dirt balls hitting on me, it's a jerk barrier! The only guys that come and talk to me are cool people wanting to know what's up with the sweatsuit."

"I recently went to Greece and really wanted to take my suit with me, even though I wouldn't really be able to tell anyone what I was doing. I wore it up to the Acropolis and around Athens. I don't really think too many people took notice of it, the kids there dress like Manga cartoon characters so I sort of just felt invisible. I wore it to climb a mountain too, but literally no one saw me there, except my boyfriend. And some goats."
