February 9 & 11, 2005 – The Grey Sweatsuit Revolution Lecture Series and Intervention Convention
The Nova Scotia College of Art and Design Presents,
The Grey Sweatsuit Revolution Lecture Series and Intervention Convention. Keep it Live!

Ah, ah, ah, ah
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods
Will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde and sing and cry
Valhalla, I am coming!
Ah, ah, ah, ah

Led Zepplin wrote these lyrics in 1970 but despite the whole timing issue we have recieved personal confirmatiom from Robert Plant himself that he wrote this song about us going to Halifax. Call him. He'd love to hear from you.

2006 – MOCCA (Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art) Show

When we first found out we were going to be in a show at the MOCCA we were totally psyched! Because we've always wanted to have a show at a coffee shop. We pictured people in grey sweatsuit berets sitting around and complaining about the quality of their heroin. But yesterday, Derek Mainella, the gallery owner/curator that got us into this show told us what MOCCA actually stands for, and it has nothing to do with JAVA! Or bongos! Regardless, keep your bananas peeled for the show, it may be what everyone else is doing and we all know how important it is for you to fit in.
